Description
Inspired by one of Sybil Atteck’s many paintings of the Valencia River area, in north Trinidad.
Here I illustrate the river at sunset using the ‘direct silk painting’ and over-painting techniques, to show some details of small fishing pirogues, (boats) on the river’s edge.
Shown here in a vibrant red/ochre/burnt umber colour story.
