Description

This piece was inspired by Sybil Atteck’s abstract painting of Family Cycles.

Here I use a cubist style pattern, and the ‘gutta serti’ silk painting technique, to illustrate the many activities of a healthy family unit.

There are field sports, school and work, dinners, kite flying, and water sports, in this deep primary colour palette.
