Here I continue experimenting with movement of flames and smoke, from fire ‘in de bush,’ as they say in Trinidad and Tobago.

Here is a fluid design, illustrating the movement of the blue smoke ‘ribbons’ throughout the piece, using the direct silk painting technique, with some overpainting, along with underpainted, gutta brushwork, in white. Shown here in a striking golden yellow, red, and brilliant orange colour story.
